Dear Pastorate Family and St. Ann School,
Two months ago, Mrs. Roisum discerned that it was time for her to step down as principal at the end of this school year to allow for new leadership for our beloved school. That was a selfless act on her part to step away from St. Ann school which she loves. For that reason, along with her 19 years of dedicated service to our school, I am grateful for her service.
I am happy to announce that we have our new principal beginning this Fall. I have offered the position to Mrs. Aimee Stano and she has accepted. Mrs. Stano needs no introduction. She has been a loyal and dedicated teacher and instructional coach for many years at St. Ann’s. Mrs. Stano is a very capable leader that has the right balance of discipline and empathy which aligns with the qualities sought in a principal. Mr. Michael Lancaster, superintendent of Catholic schools, endorsed Mrs. Stano and listed her many strengths including her positive rapport with the staff, parents, and students. After listening to recommendations from faculty, staff, parents, and Mrs. Roisum, it became apparent Mrs. Stano was the right choice.
Thank you for your strong support and love for St. Ann Catholic School, especially for all who are working hard to market and increase our enrollment. With God on our side, we can’t fail. I look forward to all the good God has in store for our school as we continue the long-standing tradition of forming strong Christian children in Pastorate 24.
