Our Go Make Disciples teams realized that many people have many different ideas of evangelization, so they contacted a lot of leaders in our parishes about evangelization. Our team spent time talking about the input and coming up with a definition for all of us to use: Evangelization is helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. When you are helping someone with their relationship with Jesus, you are evangelizing.
This means when you help someone or encourage someone to pray, you are evangelizing. When you know about the religious items in your house/car and you can use them to tell people about your love for Jesus, you are evangelizing. When you listen to someone talk about Jesus, you are evangelizing. When you help someone talk about God, you are evangelizing. Evangelization does not require us to correct anyone, just to help them find Jesus in their situation. It does not
require us to go door to door or stand on street corners, just to watch and respond to the opportunities that God gives.
We are disciples of Christ and we hope for and pray for, and work toward everyone being a disciple of Christ.

“Hope Does Not Disappoint,” is inspired by Romans 5:5, which reminds us that God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. In Jeremiah 29:11, we are assured, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” These scriptures remind us that our hope in God is never in vain.
Each pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal supports the many programs, resources and services that the Diocese sponsors, enabling us to share the transformative power of Christ’s love with those who are lost, forgotten, or in need. During this Year of Jubilee, we are called to reflect on God’s abundant grace, celebrate the gift of
forgiveness, and shine Christ's light in the world through acts of charity and service.

Please prayerfully consider joining the Perpetual Steward Society by making a continuous monthly gift of any amount. Or consider making a pledge, payable over six months. Your gift will help enable our parish and the diocese to reach its goal and provide to the ministries supported by the appeal.

HMC Catholic Multicultural Center Meal

It’s time for our monthly meal supporting our friends at CMC. Volunteers are needed to donate food and help serve the soup and sandwich meal. Can you help?
- Sign-up sheets are in the HMC gathering area.
- Remember that food items need to be at church no later than 4:00 pm

St. Ann's Church Spring Cleaning 2025
March 21 from 5-8pm
March 22 from 10am-12pm
St. Ann's cleaning volunteers will be doing the annual Spring Cleaning of the church. We welcome fellow parishioners to join us for whatever amount of time they could spare - the more the merrier, and lighter and quicker the work!

OCI Crochet Club: Yarn Needed!
Oakhill Correctional Institute (OCI) is a minimum security prison for men located in Oregon, Wisconsin.
My name is Marisa Lukesic and I am the Recreation Lead for the Hobby Department at OCI. I have recently started a crochet club for beginners. The club is led by inmate crochet coaches who plan and teach the beginning crochet classes.
Our current project is to crochet dog sweaters to donate to the Dane County Humane Society.
Can you donate yarn to help us meet our goal? Worsted weight (medium) yarn is used for the sweaters, and we can use any brand or color. We gladly accept new yarn, but we are happy to put the odds and ends left over from your knitting and crocheting projects to use (even tangled yarn will do).
Yarn donation boxes will be placed in the Gathering Spaces of St. Ann and Holy Mother of Consolation starting in March. We thank you in advance for your generous donation.

Together Encountering Christ (TEC)
held at St. Jerome in Columbus
March 21-23
Starting at noon on Friday, ending at 3:30pm Sunday
TEC (Together Encountering Christ) is centered on the Paschal Mystery of Christ. Our Shepherd Bishop Donald Hying has also centered his 'Go Make Disciples' initiative on that same theme. TEC is especially designed to help us grow in our love for Christ and our Holy Catholic Church. It is an amazing experience for the young at heart who are 15 years of age or older. Regardless of your present walk in our Catholic Faith, you will be rejuvenated. This is also a 'shout out' to those of you who have already experienced a TEC retreat and would like to help out.

FAITH FORMATION
High School Masses: March 15/16
High School Students are invited to help us encounter Jesus by serving in leadership roles during our 4pm Mass and 10:15am Mass next weekend at Holy Mother of Consolation. If a high school student would like to serve as a greeter, basket collector, lector, petition reader, or gift bearer, they should contact Becky Phillips to sign up.

On the mornings of July 29-31, St. Cletus Pastorate will be hosting Vacation Bible School at St. Ann’s! We will explore how Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind through games, science, art, snacks, bible stories, skits, and more!
Children entering kindergarten through 5thgrade are invited to participate. Youth entering 6thgrade will be leaders in training. Youth entering 7th-12thgrades and adults are invited to volunteer! Registration will begin in May. Please contact Tonya Kleven for more information.

St. Dymphna Grant Received for St. Cletus Grief Ministry!
The Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities - Diocese of Madison has provided a $500 St. Dymphna Grant to St. Cletus Pastorate. This grant will be used to expand awareness of the Diocese Mental Wellness website at madisondiocese.org/mentalwellness

The Grief Ministry Team will expand beyond retreats and seasonal programs to address the following beatitude: “Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4). Since 2024, grief programs have included retreats with Peggy Weber “Name, Claim, Reframe,” “Managing Grief during the Holidays”
and a grief support group “A Time to Grieve, A Time to Hope” being held at St Joseph this Lent. The intent of these programs is to support parishioners during bereavement and enhance their faith lives and/or involvement in our parish communities.

Prayer Healing in our Pastorate
Jesus trained many of his disciples to pray for the sick. Our healing prayer teams will pray for anyone with a physical ailment as well as a hardship of any kind. Healing is often accompanied by Jesus’ peace and love. Please join us after Mass on the following dates and occasions:
- Saturday, March 8 at St. Ann
- Sunday, March 9 at St. Joseph
- Sunday, April 6 at St. Ann
At St. Joseph, meet near the Holy Family. At St. Ann, meet in the chapel.

St. Paul Prayer Ministry
Do you or someone you know need prayers? The newly formed St. Paul Prayer Ministry is here to pray for the needs of our pastorate family. All requests will be kept in strict confidence and names of those we are praying for will not be shared with prayer participants unless given permission. In making your request, please include your prayer intention and whether you would like names kept confidential or give permission to include the names of those we are praying for.
