Standing on holy ground…
As Moses was watching the sheep he saw an amazing sight, a bush that appeared to be burning, but not being consumed. And as he approached, a voice said, “Moses, remove your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.” God did not want anything, even sandals, to get between Moses and his experience of God’s creation.
I realize it’s not quite warm enough for us to walk through the grass or the mud in our bare feet, but experiencing the awesome power of God can be done with our shoes on. Feeling God’s presence in the world can be exhilarating. It’s a joy you want to share with others.
Each week we all stand in the presence of God as we come to our churches. We come as the body of Christ, Jesus’ presence among us, within us. And the real presence, the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ is present in our tabernacles. We can almost hear the voice telling us, “Let nothing come between you and God… but you can leave your shoes on.” And God smiles.
We stand on holy ground and we rejoice.

We invite all pastorate members to this year's video series rotating among the five churches: No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk through Christ's Passion by Edward Sri.
Jesus might be calling you to help someone in their relationship with Him. Invite that person to come with you to "No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk through Christ's Passion.” After you attend, keep the conversation going with that person. Talk about what Jesus has done for you, and listen to what the person says about Jesus. At this point there is no need to correct anyone of false understanding, just listen with compassion.

Increase your knowledge of Jesus, increase your love for Jesus, so you can be ready to help increase the knowledge and love of everyone around you.

Pray for Our Youth!
You are invited to pray for a child who is preparing to receive Jesus' body in the Eucharist for the first time or for a teen who is looking forward to receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation this spring.
Come to any of our St. Cletus gathering spaces/vestibules to pick up a prayer card that includes an individual's name and prayer that you can use to ask God to bless our youth during this very special time in their lives as they take this monumental step on their faith journey.
St. Cletus Pastorate Lenten Reconciliation Liturgy
Wednesday, April 9
held at St. Ann, Stoughton
6:00-6:45pm: Faith Formation Families
(scripture, prayers, individual confessions)
6:45pm until finished: open to everyone
Five priests will be available to hear confessions!
- St. Cletus faith formation families should plan to attend our Reconciliation prayer service at 6pm. This will consist of bible readings, prayers, and individual confession. This prayer service is intended for our youth and their families, but all other pastorate members are welcome to attend as well.
Confessions for the rest of the pastorate will be heard from 6:45pm until all are finished.

Helping Christians in the Holy Land
When you donate to the Good Friday Collection, you help to ensure that Christianity will remain in the Holy Land for years to come. Last year's collection provided support to 29 parishes and 4 homes for orphans. The funds collected also helped keep 16 schools open for over 10,000 pre-K through grade 12 students. The HMC KoC is an award-winning Council that focuses on deepening our Catholic Faith, enriching our family life, serving our parish, helping those in need, and supporting one another. If you are interested in being part of this dynamic group of men, please join us.

Feed My Sheep was a huge success!
Thank you St. Cletus Pastorate!
Our St. Cletus Pastorate came together for our Lenten service project called Feed My Sheep. Whether you were one of the 180 people who volunteered at this event on March 15, or you donated money to help us raise $7,000 to supply the ingredients, or you prayed for a successful service project, thanks for your
involvement in Feed My Sheep 2025. We packaged 30,375 meals together that will be sent to two schools and two foster centers in Honduras.

Tissue Drive
THANK YOU to all who donated to the facial tissue drive on behalf of the Oregon Area Food Pantry. With 245 boxes collected and a matching donation from our Parish Life Committee, guests will enjoy a choice of facial tissues into the spring months. This pantry serves residents in the Oregon School District boundaries, including the Towns and Villages of Oregon, Brooklyn, Dunn, Rutland and parts of Fitchburg. THANK YOU for taking the blow out of winter!

Save the Date for Vacation Bible School!
On the mornings of July 29-31, St. Cletus Pastorate will be hosting Vacation Bible School at St. Ann’s! We will explore how Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind through games, science, art, snacks, bible stories, skits, and more!
Children entering kindergarten through 5thgrade are invited to participate. Youth entering 6thgrade will be leaders in training. Youth entering 7th-12thgrades and adults are invited to volunteer! Registration will begin in May. Please contact Tonya Kleven for more information.
